About Queux
The kitchen deserves a right arm.
Queux exists to help the people feeding children: the cook planning a week, the educator stepping in and the director keeping the centre’s food-safety work organised.
Why Queux exists
A lot happens before lunch reaches a room.
Childcare centres already keep bookings and important child information in their management software. The kitchen still has to turn that information into food: count the meals, check dietary needs, scale recipes, order ingredients, manage deliveries and meet service times.
Then there are the records. Temperature checks, cleaning, food-safety documents, issues, photographs and the notes someone needs tomorrow. Much of that work can end up on paper or in disconnected files.
Queux brings it into a standalone kitchen workspace. The purpose is practical: help the team know what needs doing, support the centre’s approved food-safety processes and keep a clear record of the work.
Who we build for
The whole team behind the meal.
- 01
The cook
Today’s rooms, menu, ingredients, dietary and texture instructions, timing and records in one place. Keep your own recipes and the knowledge you have built in your kitchen.
- 02
The educator helping out
A clear handover, familiar instructions and practical learning about allergies, cross-contamination, bottles and first foods. Training includes knowing when to ask for help.
- 03
The centre and its families
Useful records for the director, approved menus and household recipe cards to share with families, and thoughtful food activities for children.
How we approach food safety
Useful support. Clear responsibility.
Australian food-safety requirements, local rules and each child’s current plans guide the centre’s procedures. Queux keeps those procedures and records accessible; the authorised people at the centre review ingredients, substitutions, plans and service decisions.
Our practical library links to official guidance and specialist allergy resources. It is site learning, with recognised qualifications and Food Safety Supervisor records kept distinct. Menus and recipes need the centre’s review and appropriate nutrition advice.
