Australia: start with the centre’s activities

The Food Standards Code provides the national food-safety framework. Standard 3.3.1 addresses food service to vulnerable people, including relevant childcare settings. Applicability, local implementation and exemptions matter. Ask your food regulator to confirm the centre’s classification, program, supervision, training, audit and record requirements.
